Buffalo Baptist Church

Beth Anthony has served as Music Director since 2014. She has attended Buffalo Baptist since she was born and has been involved in the music ministry at Buffalo Baptist in many ways since she was a child. Beth is married to Dee Anthony and has two children, DJ and Emily. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, camping and outdoor activities.

Favorite Bible verse: Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

J.R. was born and raised in Buffalo. He has attended Buffalo Baptist all his life.  Along with being the youth director, he also works in landscaping.  J.R. loves hunting, hiking, and anything to do with nature. 

J.R.'s favorite Bible verses are Genesis 3:11, Romans 12:2, and  John 3:30. 

Abby was born in Buford, Georgia and moved to S.C. when she was 4. She has a great passion for serving and helping people of all ages, as well as a passion for music! She currently serves as a preschool teacher and is excited about her new role as a Children's Director at Buffalo Baptist Church. She is a mother to a five-year-old son. In January she will be the wife of the youth pastor at Buffalo Baptist church, JR LaPierre.  She loves planning events & teaching kids about Jesus, and she is looking forward to getting to love the children here in the church and the community! The church is also excited about the addition and support she will bring to the church. Fun and Interesting Fact about her: Abby loves playing the piano, she sings, she loves to read, and she loves to draw.

Kim Benson grew up in Union, SC. She has been married to Jeff Benson for 29 years and has one son, Andrew.  She has served at Buffalo Baptist since 2013.  Kim enjoys family, camping, and Clemson football.

Kim's favorite Bible verse is II Chronicles 7:14. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, them I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
